I feel the marketing of this item is deceitful. I did not open or use the product so I cannot say it does not work, but my last try with a clone product lowered the quality of the copy and more "issues" with my printer. This set cost almost as much as the printer itself - and I know that's their business model - but it would be nice if by paying the premium, you actually got a good product.These worked well out of the box, but before they were even half way thru their lives all three of the color cartridges had leaked toner extensively. I'm not talking a few dots on my print jobs, but rather I have had to shop-vac out the interior of the printer and take the cartridges, belt and drum into the other room and use a lot of compressed air to clean them off. The original set that came with the printer didn't give us much trouble, but these Brother brand replacements have been nothing but a very expensive head-ache. I am generally happy with Brother products, having purchased at least 3 printers by them... I did recieve a new cartridge at no extra charge for the exception of my time and a trip to send the defunked one out. |
